Step 1: Select Snowboard

Customers browse available snowboard models and sizes on the touchscreen and select their preferred option.

Step 2: Pre-Authorization Payment

The system performs a pre-authorization payment (deposit hold). This secures the rental without charging the full amount upfront.

Step 3: Automatic Locker Release & Receipt

The corresponding locker door opens automatically.
A receipt is issued with a unique return code.

Step 4: Flexible Usage

Customers use the snowboard freely. Rental duration is automatically tracked by the system.

Step 5: Easy Return

When returning the snowboard, the customer simply enters the return code.
The system calculates the total rental time and automatically deducts the correct amount.

Any unused portion of the pre-authorized payment is refunded.
If usage exceeds the deposit amount, additional charges are processed automatically.

This eliminates manual calculation and deposit disputes.
